Standort und Zugang

Die Baumwipfelbahn befindet sich an der Nordhäuser Straße 4 in 38667 Bad Harzburg. Vom Bahnhof Bad Harzburg aus kann man die Seilbahn zu Fuß in etwa 15 Minuten erreichen. Alternativ kann man auch den Buslinien 410 oder 420 nutzen und an der Haltestelle "Schloss" aussteigen.

Für Autofahrer gibt es ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe der Seilbahn. Der Eintrittspreis für Erwachsene beträgt 9,50 Euro, für Kinder von 4 bis 14 Jahren 6,50 Euro und fürới

It was really worth it. Although it took us around 1 hour of waiting as it was a holiday and a summer afternoon, the view and experience was top notch. People working there were also very friendly and had good temperament despite many people queuing up.

Loved it! I was so anxious before I started but it was fun! The ride itself was so smooth, not too fast. Gave a thrill to be so high amongst the trees. My feet skimmed the leaves and some branches up top! We might go again this trip!! And might even let go and free my hands 😮 One guy helping people onto it was so friendly and that helped calm me down. Saw him talk softly and gently to a very young child who was very nervous.

Very cool place, fun, you can get there on foot and by cable car. Not scary at all, although it looks a bit like that. Allowed for people weighing no more than 100kg ( with belongings) . The price is 14 euros for an adult. There was almost no queue, everything moves quickly. The descent itself is 5-7 minutes, but the experience is very interesting. It is also accessible for children. The descent is possible with your belongings (bag), you don't need to leave them anywhere. After the descent you can continue your walk through the forest or on a special bridge (buy tickets in advance).

I loved the experience. Baumschwebebahn gives you the right amount of adrenaline rush for an adventure sport. I could touch the top branches of trees with my feet while ziplining through the mountains. The view was really good. I would recommend this to anyone who is not afraid of heights.

Amazing experience! A little but is, that they should let you know that the swing will twist alot while going down the hill. Felt unsafe when I haven't heard anything about it. But a beautiful and unique trip for sure!

We walked up here on a foggy day in autumn. It created a special atmosphere being in the woods unable to see very far. The kids loved it especially this sense of Zauberwald. A nice side effect was the relatively low number of visitors which helped with the waiting time for the ride. I can imagine the queue to be much longer on a sunny day. However we all enjoyed the ride down and I think this Baumschwebebahn is a great attraction for families.
